Market Place was bursting with excitement this weekend as thousands of visitors enjoyed an action packed return of the much loved Heroes, Villains and Dinosaurs Comic Con. Held on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June, the free family event brought two unforgettable days of fun, fantasy and incredible entertainment to the heart of Bolton.
Fans of all ages got the opportunity to meet their favourite heroes, infamous villains and even came face to face with a life size roaming dinosaur named Aurora. The event offered a thrilling mix of interactive zones, themed sets, and amazing photo opportunities that truly brought the magic of Comic Con to life.
Cosplayers young and old turned out in full costume, adding to the colour and spectacle of the weekend. From movie characters to comic book icons, the variety of outfits and creativity on display was a highlight in itself.
Market Place welcomed 33,559 visitors over the weekend, an impressive increase of +11.7% compared to last year reflecting the strong local interest and growing popularity of the event.
